Mobile Generator MADE FROM LAWN MOWER MOTORS
Lawn mowers are cheap, they break down often beyond its economic value of repairs
The engine itself typically works, but the rest of the mechanical are no good.
The engine typically runs between 4.5hp to 6 hp and a fixed RPM
1 HP generates about 20-25 amp @ 13v? =300 watts
A 120amp alternator @ 13V = 1,560
5 HP lawn mower engine = 1,500 watts
A new generator 2,000 watts max output $300, 9 hrs run time
subaru portable generator
22HP - makes 10,000 watts
42amp @ 240 V
50% load, 11.6 hours 8.6 gallon of fuel
50% load = 5,000 watts = 0.75 gallon / hour
25,0000 watts = 3.75 gallon / hour

car engine, honda 3.5L motor
@ 2,000 rpm 100HP - makes ?? watts
100 HP = 5x10,000 = 50,000 watts
@ 2,000 rpm = 70mph / @ 20 mpg = 3.5 gallon per hour
@ 12 hours of run time = 42 gallon of fuel
@ 24 hours of run time = 84 gallon of fuel
